Shillingford Organics is all about growing seasonal, organic vegetables, salad, herbs and fruit giving local people a great opportunity to buy healthy, freshly harvested organic produce, which is free from harmful pesticides and chemicals. We have organic hens on the farm, which produce wonderful, tasty, organic eggs.

Our use of green manures and well-made compost coverings ensure we optimise soil biology. We are passionate about wildlife and adopt many methods, which encourage a natural balance in nature. Everyone who works on the farm is passionate about wildlife and ecology. It is really important for organic growing and to produce good healthy crops that there is as great a range of bio-diversity as possible.

Our veg box scheme and Online Farm Shop allows us to create a direct relationship between us as growers and you as customers and encompasses more than just the aspect of trade. For you it means locally produced, great value and good, fresh produce that’s full of flavour. It also allows you some sense of connection with the source of your food, and the knowledge that you are not underwriting a wasteful and destructive system of transportation. The Farm Shop sells our own organic vegetables, fruit and eggs and other products sourced locally or ethically from like-minded people.
